our tanks are made in our facility in California, USA, from pvdf procured from US based sources.
We fabricate or mold the tanks based upon the sizes.
PVDF (polyvinylidene flouride) tanks: Commonly called KAYNAR Tanks, are used for applications where there is high temperature and the fluids are highly corrosive and the nature of the installation cannot support very heavy weight(example nuclear installations).
PVDF can be welded using most welding techniques suitable for thermoplastics. We tend to prefer using butt fusion welding.
Given the nature of this product, it is not available 'off-the-shelf' and a custom fabrication is always required.
A number of options with regards to the adapters, filters, pipe fittings and sealing are available. In most applications the fluid is high corrosive, therefore, we recommend that you contact us for a optimum design configuration.
